A note from the maker: 14.5 ft long, 4 ft wide, and 2 inches thick. The Ocean Conference Table is a hand-made work of art. Built from 1 single slab or Oregon Black Walnut, and multiple layers of a natural plant-based epoxy resin. The sea turtles were made from various different hardwoods and accented with vibrant colours to give this ocean scene the feeling of a lucid dream. The islands were fashioned from west coast Manzanita burls, with the burl in the centre of the table hollowed out for a custom power adapter for computer plugs and USB connections. The sea floor rocks and boulders were made using the bark from the same walnut slab. This table sits on 3 custom steel trapezoid bases, powder coated silky white. This table is special, one-of-kind, and top of its class. It took 3 months to build, and the details are proof to that.
